Vine Charcoal Drawing "Jack Big Plume" Native American Sarcee Tribe

Hi there, here's a new piece I did this past weekend, entered a drawing and painting event and Jack was a reference. Just had to have a go at him. Such a fabulous face to work with.
I don't use my charcoals that much and really enjoy them and need to do more portraits, so pulled out the willow vine charcoal and this is the result.
We have a two hour limit and then are to show our works finished or not at that time....I was pleased to have him done.
I'll probably see something that needs a touch up after a couple days or so,
but here he is.
Size is about 12 x 16 inches

Hi Sharron, I am sitting in England with my cousin Geoff. I showed him your blog and he loves your work. Geoff is also learning to paint and is self-taught. I have now signed him up so that he can chat with you on your blog. Perhaps one day he can show you his wonderful work.

Hello to Pamela and Geoff......
Thank you for your lovely comments. Geoff putting your work out there in cyber space is the best thing when you are learning the ins and outs of painting. So have fun with your blog. Visit other artists, and say hello and you will soon have a lot of people to talk to. Another place to go to that I have been a member of since 2003 is an Internet Artists Community, the largest and best there is, Called.... WetCanvas.com.......
Become a member or Lurk for a while which I did, (it's free and above board, good place) and you will find some of the best artists in the world teaching and giving advise for free to you there.
Will stop by and say hi at your new blog soon.....

Pamela.....tried to get on your brother's blog, but could only get to the profile page, not the blog home page, you have to fill out more of the profile and give the blog title and url there so that visiters from his name on the comments, can also get on his home page that way.
