Weekend painting challenge at WetCanvas, hosted by a lovely lady named Dewi, who just came back from her trip.   I loved the light in this, and haven't done a landscape for a while. This is a quick study maybe 45min or less...  Used watercolor pencils and some pastels on 9x12 paper.  Enjoy!!  :)

Spring!!! Look What It Brings!!!

 I love Spring Time, everything seems to come awake and alive.....including me.!!!  Just look at what I had to look at this afternoon.  This is from my Den/Computer room window!! Love those clouds. Sunny and warm low sixtys today, what's not to like about that.......:)  Hope you all have a good week.

Banff Alberta - Lake Minnewanka Landscape

Here's a Landscape painting from just outside Banff Alberta in the Rockys. This was painted mostly from knife work, and some brush on the sky, water, and trees. My first real painting with a knife. Find I use them a lot now for different looks, textures and lines. Finally got back and finished it off today. Done on WaterColor Paper, with Acrylics 12 x 16in. Comments Welcome!
